Just saw the cover for Princess Elizabeth's Spy, love it....can't wait for the book to come out, one more month right? Hope you had a nice vacation, and are back at work on Book #4. Patty Rad
Thank you, Patty! Princess Elizabeth's Spy comes out on October 16, 2012. His Majesty's Hope will be out sometime in the spring of 2013, they tell me. Speaking of which, I'd better get back to the manuscript!
I absolutely loved Mr. Churchill's Secretary and am now in the middle of Princess Elizabeth's Spy. I can't wait for His Majesty's Hope. These are wonderful books and as an aspiring writer, I'll be happy to one day produce works half as good as these myself!
Edgar Award and Dilys Award-nominated Susan Elia MacNeal is the author of the Maggie Hope Mystery series from Bantam/Random House. The first is Mr. Churchill's Secretary, nominated for the Mystery Writers of America's 2013 Edgar Award for Best First Novel, and also the Independent Mystery Booksellers Association's 2013 Dilys Award for "the mystery title of the year that booksellers have most enjoyed hand-selling." Mr. Churchill's Secretary was also declared one of Suspense Magazine's Best Debut of 2012 and Deadly Pleasures's Best Paperback Original of 2012 and chosen as one of Target's "Emerging Authors" series.
The sequel, Princess Elizabeth's Spy, was a New York Times bestseller and chosen by Oprah.com as "Mystery of the Week" and one of "7 Compulsively Readable Mysteries (for the Crazy-Smart Reader)," as well as Tagret's "Emerging Authors" series.
Maggie Hope novel, His Majesty's Hope, will be published in May 2013, and The Prime Minister's Secret Agent in 2014.
Absolutely gorgeous. Congrats!
